» The Egg(s) : Multiple Hidden Documents

There are 2 ways to get to different hidden documents. From the Special Features menu go down to the main menu and instead of clicking enter press down again to highlight the hole in the floor. This is where you will find the secret reports that the android (ASH) was sending to Special Ops. The second place to find hidden documents is from the main menu. Go to Special Features and press left to highlight the window box and press enter. This will reveal bios of Nostromo's crew along with the flight plans.
Highlight and select the left window to see the DVD credits. Highlight and select the other window to see crew information and flight plans for the Nostromo. Select Extra Features, highlight and select the acid puddle to see Kane's transmission of the alien lifecycle.

Different versions of movies are routinely released on DVD, for different regions, special editions, and so forth. Eggs listed for a specific movie may or may not work on other releases, so feel free to give them a go.
