Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) - Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and girlfriend Molly McNearney are engaged!

Kimmel's representative confirmed the news of the engagement, but did not give out further details.

According to People.com, Kimmel proposed while on vacation with McNearney at the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

McNearney, 34, is one of the head writers of Kimmel's sow, "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" She and Kimmel started going out in 2009.

This is McNearney's first wedding, but this won't be the first trip down the aisle for Kimmel as the 44-year-old host was previously married to Sarah Silverman.
