Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) - A web of rumors has been spun regarding the relationship status of "X-Files" co-stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry on Wednesday, a source exclusively confirmed Duchovny and Anderson's relationship. According the source, the two have been in a serious relationship for quite some time, and are living together.

No relationship has ever been declared by the two despite years of being together onscreen. This is because...there was never any relationship at all. A representative for Duchovny told Celebuzz Thursday, "It is not true," referring to the rumors.

Meanwhile, Anderson confirmed Tuesday that she had called it quits with his long-time boyfriend Mark Griffiths. They have two sons together.

Duchovny, on the other hand, has broken off with wife Tea Leoni after going to rehab on 2008 for sex addiction.
