Singer Adele puts together nursery ryhmes CD for unborn child

-- Paula David - Fourth Estate Cooperative Reporter

London, United Kingdom (4E) - Multi-awarded singer Adele reportedly put together an entire CD of nursery rhymes solely for her unborn child.

The 24-year-old expectant mom is said to play her most recent recording to her growing tummy.

A source told the Sun, "She has been playing the rhymes to her belly. It's so Adele can get her voice as close as possible to the baby so it can hear as many soothing sounds as possible." The unnamed source also said that the singer is biding her maternity playing Jenga, Monopoly and Scrabble.

The singer broke the news of her pregnancy last week on her blog saying, "I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me. Obviously, we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."

Meanwhile, in the midst of talks on a new single at the end of the year, Adele will be singing the theme of the new James Bond film and will re-release her album "21" also before the year ends.
