Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) - Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek is still under observation at a Los Angeles hospital after suffering a heart attack.

He was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Saturday.

According to a statement released by Sony Pictures Television on Sunday, "Trebek is in good spirits and is currently under observation and undergoing further testing. He is expected to fully recover and be back at Jeopardy! when production begins taping in July for the new season, the show's 29th."

This is not the first time the 71-year-old host has been hospitalized. He had a heart attack in December 2007, but managed to be back on the show after recovering for a few weeks. He was also treated for a broken Achilles' tendon in July 2011 after attempting to pursue a burglar who broke into his San Francisco hotel room.

Trebek has been hosting Jeopardy! for 28 years, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, his contract has been extended until 2014.
