Los Angeles, Calif., United States (4E) - "Snow White and the Huntsman" star Charlize Theron has chopped off her long blonde locks for an upcoming movie.

Since last week, the actress has not been out without a hat or a beanie, as evidenced by photographs, making her cropped 'do more noticeable.

A representative for Theron confirmed to People.com that the 36-year-old new mom has indeed let go of her tresses in preparation for her role as Furiosa in the upcoming "Mad Max: Fury Road."

The public has yet to see the whole new haircut, though.
