Johhny Depp and Vanessa Paradis' love on the rocks

-- Paula David - Fourth Estate Cooperative Reporter

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) - "Pirates of the Carribean" star Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis are said to be saving their relationship from breaking, E! News reported Tuesday.

According to E!'s source, the 44-year-old actor, who has been recently adopted by a Native Aerican tribe, is "trying to work it out" with the lovely Paradis, 39.

"For the first time in a long time, he is talking about her," the source tells E! News. "They both really want to make it work."

Depp was recently linked with "Rum Diary" co-star Amber Heard. He is currently juggling his time between filming his upcoming movie "The Lone Ranger" in New Mexico, and spending time with his family in Los Angeles.

The couple met in 1993 at a mutual friend's house in France, but sparks didn't fly until 1998. They welcomed their first child, Lily-Rose in 1999, and their second, Jack, in 2002. Depp and Paradis were rumored to have split up in January this year, with an alleged intervention by Angelina Jolie, but the couple denied the rumors.
