Two bodies turn up in fuel at Florida power plant

LAKELAND, FLORIDA (AHN) -- A body was found Tuesday in the fuel sent to the McIntosh power plant in Lakeland, Florida. Moreover, police say its the second body in only two days to turn up in coal meant for the 941-megawatt capacity refuse burner.

Monday, a man's body was found. Tuesday, workers found a female. Authorities say the bodies were found in coal shipments that were being processed for fuel.

According to Tampa Bay Online, police say the first body is believed to be a transient from out of state. There is no update on who police believe the second body to be.

Authorities will conduct autopsies on both bodies to determine their causes of death.
