Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) - Jennifer Lopez will be returning to American Idol to judge alongside Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.

American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe revealed the expected news during Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show.

"I believe we're still waiting for the official announcements but I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of American Idol, is back for the next season," Lythgoe stated during the show.

While no official confirmation from FOX on Lopez's new contract has been revealed, Lopez is expected to receive a salary bump from her $12 million she made last season.

Jackson and Tyler signed multiyear deals with the show, which sees host Ryan Seacrest's contract expire after this coming season.

Season 11 of American Idol will premiere in January.
