NBC's "The Voice" adds results show, dates season finale

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (AHN Entertainment) -- "The Voice" is taking a page out of the "American Idol" and "Dancing with the Stars" handbook by adding extra results shows to its line-up.

NBC officially announced that its adding an extra results show on Wednesday, June 22nd at 8pm ET. The show's season finale has also been dated and is set to air on Wednesday, June 29th at 8pm ET.

There's no word on whether the judges will take the stage or if there'll be any additional performers during the results shows, although the judges are reported to have been working on a collaborative track. The judges performed together during the show's premiere, covering fellow judge Cee Lo Green's "Crazy."

The show, which stars Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton, is currently the season's #1 new show in adults 18-49. It continues to air on Tuesdays over the summer.

The show, which will return for its second season in January, was just announced as having taken the coveted post-Super Bowl time slot following NBC's exclusive coverage.
