Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) -- Who knew Jennifer Lopez could make a baby out of hip-hop mogul P. Diddy.

The rapper revealed to Access Hollywood over the weekend that he's been moved so much by watching ex-girlfriend Lopez on "American Idol" that she's made him cry twice.

Diddy, whose real name is Sean John Combs, said the singer her compassion on the show is much greater that her predecessor Simon Cowell.

'The way [Jennifer] handled coming after Simon, and even myself from "Making the Band" and the way we were hard coaches - she's been like, a compassionate person,' he said.

Diddy said Lopez's participation on the singing competition show has made him quite emotional.

"She's made me cry like, twice, and she's looked good doing it. And she's made sense so, you know, I'm proud of her," he said. "She's a nice person so, you know, when you're super nice, your emotions get the best of you."

Diddy, who's about to kick off a 20-date concert tour in April to promote his "Diddy Dirty Money" album, is also set to reunite with his former girlfriend when he serves as a musical mentor and guest judge on "American Idol" in an upcoming episode.

Meanwhile, Diddy is coming up with a new drink recipe to go with his Ciroc Vodka brand inspired by one of Charlie Sheen's slogans.

In his Twitter account on Satuday, Diddy revealed the recipe for the Tigerblood cocktail.

He wrote: "BREAKING NEWS! Cocktail- Redberry Ciroc + Cranberry Juice = TIGERBLOOD!!! #Winning!"

Lopez and Diddy's relationship began in 1999 but quickly fizzled two years later after they were both arrested over a nightclub shooting in New York.

In an interview, Lopez said the incident was one of her lowest moments and the relationship never was able to recover after that.

"That was one of the worst nights of my life," she had said. "It was devastating for me to have lived through that."
