Willow Smith, Darren Criss Among Nominees for Logo's "NewNowNext Awards"

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) -- Logo's "NewNowNext Awards" are back, proving that they're once again ahead of the game even when it comes to awarding today's stars. Not only did they recognize "True Blood" before it became a true hit, they also scored Lady Gaga's first-ever televised performance back in her "Just Dance" days.

Among this year's nominees are "Glee" star Darren Criss, who scored a "Brink of Fame: Actor" nomination this year. Criss, who became a gay icon as he serenaded Chris Colfer with a cover of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" on "Glee," is nominated alongside "Spider-Man" stars Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, Rooney Mara ("The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"), Nicholas Hoult ("X-Men: First Class") and Donald Glover of NBC's "Community."

10-year-old Willow Smith, who I'm going to guess is their youngest nominee yet, picks up a nod in the "Brink of Fame: Music Artist" category after releasing just one single and video for "Whip My Hair." She's nominated with dance singer Wynter Gordon, Oh Land, and indie darlings Two Door Cinema Club and Sleigh Bells.

Sofia Vergara, "True Blood" star Joe Manganiello, Jesse Williams of "Grey's Anatomy," Amber Heard, Archie Panjabi of CBS' "The Good Wife," and Rugby star Ben Cohen all earn "Cause You're Hot" nominations.

For "Most Addictive Reality Star," which was honored Snooki with a nod in the past, the nominees include Planet Green stars Josh Kilmer-Purcell & Brent Ridge of "The Fabulous Beekman Boys," Tyler & Catelynn of MTV's "Teen Mom," and Tabitha Coffey of Bravo's "Tabitha's Salon Takeover." Oh, lest we forget, Carmen Carrera of "RuPaul's Drag Race" also scored a nod (although the show has aired only two episodes).

This year will also introduce the first-ever Entertainment Weekly Inspiration Award. Presented on the NewNowNext Awards special, the award honors an entertainer who inspires hope and change through their work and activism.

"Logo's "NewNow Next Awards" 2011 will be taped on April 7th at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA and will air Monday, April 11th at 10pm/9 C only on Logo.

Performers have yet to be announced but along with Gaga, past year's performers have included Cyndi Lauper, Dan Black, RuPaul, and Dangerous Muse.
