Matthew Morrison Makes As Much As Snooki And A Lot Less Than Kate Gosselin

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) -- Matthew Morrison may be a singing and dancing Golden Globe and Emmy nominee, but he is just worth as much as a tanning-obsessed reality show guidette. According to TV Guide's new list of TV's top earners, The "Glee" star's $30,000 per episode paycheck is the same as Snooki from "Jersey Shore."

Morrison is also getting the same as teen star Selena Gomez from "The Wizards of Waverly Place," and $20,000 lower than co-star Jane Lynch.

But what is sadder is the fact that his paycheck is paltry compared to Kate Gosselin, who makes $250,000 per episode of "Kate Plus 8."

18-year-old Gomez, meanwhile, makes a whole lot less compared to 17-year-old Nickelodeon star Miranda Cosgrove, who makes $180,000 from her "iCarly" starrer.

The TV Guide list seemingly shows that talent, achievements, age, and name have little to do with what you are getting. Betty White, 88, just makes $75,000 per episode from the newly premiered "Hot in Cleveland," while "Two and a Half Men" star Angus T. Jones, 16, rakes in $250,000.

As for the top earners in the industry, "House" star Hugh Laurie leads the drama series pack with $400,000 per episode, followed by "Law & Order: SVU" stars Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay, who make $395,000 each.

"CSI: Miami" lead David Caruso beats Laurence Fishburne ("CSI") and Gary Sinise ("CSI: NY") with his $375,000 salary. Fishburne makes $350,000, while Sinise makes $275,000.

Other top earners from the drama category include Marg Helgenberger ("CSI" - $375,000), Mark Harmon ("NCIS" - $375,000), Kyra Sedgwick ("The Closer" - $350,000), Denis Leary ("Rescue Me" - $350,000), Patrick Dempsey ("Grey's Anatomy" - $250,000), and David Boreanaz ("Bones" - $200,000).

The comedy pack is led by "Two and a Half Men" stars Charlie Sheen ($1.25 million) and Jon Cryer ($550,000), followed by the four ladies of "Desperate Housewives" - Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria, and Marcia Cross ($400,000 each per episode).

"The Simpsons" voice actors Dan Castellaneta and Julie Kavner make $400,000 per episode, while "30 Rock" creator/writer/star Tina Fey gets $350,000.

Oprah Winfrey unsurprisingly held the top earning spot for the late night/talk show category with $315 million per year paycheck.

The others who fall behind her are: Judge Judy Sheindlin ($45 million), David Letterman ($28 million), Jay Leno ($25 million), Conan O'Brien ($10 million), Ellen DeGeneres ($8 million), Jimmy Kimmel ($6 million), Chelsea Handler ($3.5 million), and George Lopez ($3.5 million).
