Hong Kong, China (AHN) -- Hong Kong producer Stephen Siu has announced the start of his US$3.2 Million 3-D adult film "3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy," Set to be released in May 2011, the film stars Japanese adult actresses Yukiko Suo and Saori Hara.

Though expecting censorship from Mainland China, a key market for Hong Kong filmmakers, Siu reports that interest from U.S., European and other Asian markets have been generated, particularly some pay TV Hong Kong channels.

Its future of being distributed on DVD or Blu-Ray is not as clear, however, with the present policy of the Blu-Ray disc association of shunning pornographic content.

The film is loosely based on a piece of classical Chinese erotic literature, "The Carnal Prayer Mat."
