Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) -- After a successful telethon, stars - Morgan Freeman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Reese Witherspoon, Tim McGraw, Julia Roberts, and Meryl Streep - are gathering again for a public service announcement asking viewers to help Haitian earthquake victims through Red Cross.

In the 30-second ad, the stars encourage viewers to donate now for the Haiti relief effort.

Roberts said, "We don't have to sit around and talk about what we can do to helpÂ… Because one more thing they're running short of is time."

Viewers are then directed to visit RedCross.org or text HAITI to 9-0-9-9-9.

Peggy Conlon, President and CEO of the Ad Council, said, "Since last week's devastating earthquake, we have seen an outpouring of generosity from Americans, who have given their money, their time and their talent to help the victims in Haiti recover."

"We are so grateful to the many celebrities who immediately agreed to lend their support and voice to this PSA."

A Spanish-language version, starring Eva Longoria, will be released next week.
