Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) -- Former engaged couple Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox may or may not be betrothed again, but one thing is for sure, the former "Beverly Hills 90210" actor did not Tweet his relationship status over the weekend.

According to various sites, Green supposedly wrote on his Twitter that he is "engaged and [has] a son from [his] previous relationship" after a fan asked if he was married and had kids.

Although the actor provided details of his apparent engagement, it was assumed he was talking about Fox.

But according to GossipCop.com, Green made no such announcement simply because he doesn't have a Twitter account.

It is still not known if the on-again lovers are really once again engaged, as the two have not spoken out publicly about their relationship since the rumors surfaced.

Green and Fox reportedly ended their engagement in 2008, but reunited in 2009.
