Los Angeles, CA (CNS) -- Nearly a year after it was recorded, Kanye West is bringing his appearance on "VH1 Storytellers" to CD and DVD. The dual-disc, set for release on January 5th, features West performing hits like "Stronger" and "Heartless." West performs songs mostly from his 2008 album "808s & Heartbreaks," which was mostly ignored by Grammy voters at the recent nominations. He did earn a Best Rap Performance for a Duo or Group for "Amazing," which features Young Jeezy. He performs the nominated track along with album cuts "See You in My Nightmares," "Robo Cop," the "Graduation" hit "Flashing Lights," and others. The special also courted some controversy when it aired. During HIS 70 minute set, West found the time to diss rockers Radiohead and show support for O.J. Simpson and Chris Brown, just days after the latter's incident involving Rihanna. Kanye West's "VH1 Storytellers" release also works in three unaired performances back into the set. It also includes a Q&A with the rapper.
