Los Angeles, CA (CNS) -- Lisa Loeb has given birth to a girl. The "I Do" hitmaker and her husband Roy Hershkovitz have welcomed Lyla Rose Loeb Hershkovitz on Sunday morning, People magazine first reported.

The 41-year-old singer and her 31-year-old husband, a music production supervisor for "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien," announced the impending arrival of their first child in September.

They tied the knot in January in an intimate ceremony at a Manhattan restaurant.

Loeb is known for her signature cat-eye framed glasses. Her hit songs include the 1994 Billboard Hot 100 no. 1 "Stay (I Missed You)," which also appeared on the Winona Ryder-starrer "Reality Bytes."
