![]() New York, NY (CNS) -- Men around the globe are being encouraged to rock the 'Mo for the month of November. Movember is a global campaign that encourages men around the world to grow a moustache to help raise funds and awareness for men's health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancers, for the month of November. Men that join the campaign register online at www.movember.com. They can register as part of a team, called "Mo Bros," or on their own. Friends, family and colleagues can support and donate to the Mo-growing efforts and raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and The Lance Armstrong Foundation, LIVESTRONG. Women can also participate as "Mo Sistas" and act as ambassadors who will spread the word and show their support. "The moustache is our ribbon," said Movember Co-Founder and CEO Adam Garone, "If you don't normally have a moustache, you're compelled to explain your new look to everyone, which starts conversations about prostate and testicular cancer. Together Movember, PCF and LAF can make great strides in changing the face of men's health- one moustache at a time." At the end of November, Movember's highly anticipated Gala Partés will be held in Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, Austin and Las Vegas. Participants go dressed in costume to suit their Mo', where they can win awesome prizes and vie for the ultimate "Man of Movember" title.
