Wisconsin Man Blames Failed Breathalyzer Test On Steak Sauce

Sheboygan, WI (AHN) -- A Wisconsin man with his fourth drunken driving charge pending added a new charge after failing a breathalyzer test-but he's hoping to get off after explaining that results were not from drinking, but from eating a steak with Jack Daniels sauce.

The Sheboygan man, Ian A. Baker, 23, showed up for his court-ordered intoxicated driver intervention program Monday morning, but he blew a 0.07 blood-alcohol level on a breath test, the Sheboygan Press reported.

Baker was charged with misdemeanor bail jumping, which carried a maximum penalty of nine months in jail.

After Baker failed the alcohol test, he denied that he had consumed any alcohol, just a Jack Daniels steak the night before.
