For Smith, Ark. -- Police arrested 41-year old Carl Hagy for laptop theft. His victim was a preacher who was in prayer during the robbery - incidentally, the same preacher Hagy sold the laptop to two weeks before he stole it.

Police received a call from the Destiny Global Ministries saying that Rev. Fidelis Obdike had been the victim of a laptop theft.

The Associated Press said that according to Rev. Obdike, Hagy returned to church last Friday asking to pray. The reverend confirmed that he was inside the church while Hagy was praying, and when he opened his eyes the laptop - and Hagy - were gone.

Police officials then discovered that Hagy had pawned the laptop at a local pawnshop, Cooper's Coin and Pawn Shop, the Times Record furthered.

Hagy was taken to the Sebastian County Jail. He is currently free on a $1,500 bond.
