Magician Teleports From Ground To 50-Story Building In Singapore

Singapore (AHN) -- A 30-year-old magician from Singapore on Saturday transported himself in just five seconds from the ground floor to the rooftop of a 50-story building with over 5,000 people watching him do his stunt.

"It's unbelievable. It's amazing. It's fantastic to see this in Singapore," said one spectator.

"It's very amazing. If David Copperfield can do it, so can he," said another.

"I can't really tell you how I did it. But it's a combination of several things, with the optical scientific principles involved. (But) I can tell you (there are) no twins, no clones. Technology is not so sophisticated yet; this is real, smart magical ingenious method," said illusionist JC Sum.

According to the magician, the stunt took him 10 years to master and one year to construct a device for the stunt.

People who watched his show said they were amazed by his stunt. Because of his well-applauded act, the magician is now preparing to present a new mega-illusion before 2007 ends.
