Gloucestershire, England (AHN) -- People in Gloucestershire, England are being warned not to fight over water supplies in a county where about 130,000 homes are still without water after severe flooding.

Authorities there warned that anyone caught fighting over emergency supplies or damaging water equipment would be put in jail.

There have already been instances of thieves in the county taking advantage of flood victims by selling bottled water at exorbitant prices, according to the Mirror.

Gloucestershire Chief Constable Tim Brain said that those who fight over water would be treated the same way that police treat people guilty of road rage assaults, the BBC reports.
