Japan's Kobayashi Sets Yet Another Record In Speed Eating

Boston, MA -- Japanese Takeru "Tsunami" Kobayashi has set a new world record in speed eating.

At the Boston lobster roll eating challenge, Kobayashi was able to devour 41 rolls in 10 minutes, smashing the previous record of 22 rolls.

According to the Boston Globe, his closest challenger was only able to eat 25 rolls.

Speaking after the win he said, "I think I could eat some more."

Crazy Legs Conti, a Massachusetts native and 11th-ranked competitive eater in the world, said Kobayashi's edge is in his ability to stay focused.

Conti said, "He is tapping into something that the greats like Lance Armstrong and Tiger Woods know: the game is not on the field. It's in your mind."
