-- A former judge has been sentenced to four years in prison for using a sexual device under his robe while he presided himself over jury trials.

Donald Thompson, 59, who sat on the bench for over two decades, was convicted of four felony courts of indecent exposure, in part, by testimony from such witnesses as his former court reporter, Lisa Foster.

Foster told the court she saw the former judge and one time state legislator expose himself "at least 15 times" between 2001 and 2003.

According to NewsDay, Police built a case against the judge after a police officer testifying in a 2003 murder trial saw a piece of plastic tubing disappear under Thompson's robe. Evidence showed the judge was using a penis pump. Investigators later checked the carpet, Thompson's robes and the chair behind the bench and found semen, according to court records.
