Matt Santangelo made the lucky shot during a tournament sponsored by the Main Street Deland Association, for which the prize was $10,000. However, according to WFTV, the insurance company that was paying out the prize money claimed Santangelo hit his tee shot from the wrong spot and offered only half the money.
