New Delhi, India (AHN) -- Robin, a 16-year-old boy from the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand, got married to a hill so that he can save her mother from a 'curse'.

Robin, in bridegroom's attire, garlanded the top of the decorated Laxmi hill and accepted it as wife.

According to Indo Asian News Service, Robin's mother said: "The hill goddess came to my dream and she asked me to get my son married to her."

Robin's mother, who had fallen and hurt herself while trying to climb the hill, believed the goddess was unhappy with her and that she would clear the curse after her son married to hill.
