Surrey, England (AHN) -- A survey conducted the Thorpe Park in Surrey, England has found that more and more people are becoming less superstitious about the "unlucky" Friday the 13th. The poll, which questioned about 1,000 adults, also suggests that other superstitious beliefs are no longer a concern these days. Peter Ronchetti, Thorpe Park's general manager said the study show fewer people now become upset when they break a mirror, walk under a ladder or when a black cat walks across their path. Three out of four respondents said they had no intention of staying off work just because of the date. He said, "People were not as easily scared as they used to be. "October this year happens to be one of the freakiest months. Friday the 13th and Halloween fall within two weeks of each other," Ronchetti said.
