Cincinnati, OH -- Bubba the lobster has a new home thanks to a 7-year-old Ohio girl. The heavyweight lobster weighed in at 8-pounds and won the girl's heart.

Myranda Hutchinson won Bubba last month during a celebration at a grocery store. Myranda's family called and e-mailed zoos and aquariums looking for a home for the big guy, but couldn't find one.

Finally, a zoo curator put the family in contact with a diver who agreed to set Bubba loose in off the Maine coast. Myranda's mother and stepfather paid $280 for a cross-country flight for Bubba in a foam container.

Once he reached Maine, the diver let him go. He should remain safe in Maine water - lobsters as big as Bubba are illegal to catch and keep in the state.
