Laconia, NH (AHN) -- A wife grabbed an ax and chased her husband around the house over an argument they were having about their marriage. Police said the ax is a collector's item and was on display in the house. They add that it has a very sharp blade and has the potential to cause injury or death. Linda Masse, 50, argued in court that the ax is a toy. She said, "I didn't threaten him or to kill him or anything." Authorities said the couple had been drinking. After Masse's husband said he wanted to leave her, the argument turned violent. Police said Masse destroyed a glass door and his car while she was chasing her husband. He ran to a neighbor's house and locked the door before calling police.
