Prague, Czech Republic -- A self-proclaimed kilt-wearing Czech rebel, has been staging a one-man protest to demand independence for his home region. Called the "Czech Braveheart" after his idol William Wallace, the 27-year-old Alois Stuzka has managed to cause some public disruptions. Stuzka said, "I want to give people in my home area pride in their heritage just like the Scots." During the Motorcycle Grand Prix in Brno, he managed to disrupt the proceedings when he sped along the country's main racing tracks on a child's scooter. He again caused a scene at a premier league football match by running across the pitch during a game between Brno and Slavia Prague, also in Brno. Stuzko stopped traffic in the center of Prague by climbing the top of the famous St. Wenceslas statue and refusing to come down. Stuzka's friend Martin Golec said Alois had been inspired by Scottish hero William Wallace. He said, "Although his name is Alois everyone calls him Wallace. But he is not at all an aggressive guy, he wouldn't do anyone any harm. He is just passionate about independence for eastern Moravia and wants to get his message across."
