Website Allows College-Bound Kids To See School's True Social Scene

San Diego, CA -- A new website is replacing watered-down photos in college brochures and showing college-bound kids what college life is "really" about, including dorm and frat parties.

Campusdirt.com has just launched a new feature that allows users to post and review candid photos of more than 850 college campuses across the U.S.

The posted pics have included everything from what the dorm rooms looks like to the different party scenes of each school.

Still, there is a limit to what the photos show. Spokesman Mike O'Brien says he won't post anything that is "degrading" or "drug-related," which means no nudity or drug paraphernalia will be displayed.

O'Brien says the website started the feature so kids can get the "true flavor" of the college they want to go to.

He adds that prospective students will also use the photos as a way to access the attractiveness-ratio of schools because, as O'Brien admits, while "parents will want to see what the campus looks like, kids are more interested in the social aspects."
