TOKYO -- A new product in Japan is gaining popularity as a holiday gift for lonely men needing a place to rest their head. The $90 so-called "lap pillow" is a pillow shaped in the form of a woman's lower half with a place for a person to rest their head on the lap. The pillow comes with either a red or black skirt and there are even panty lines on the pillow's backside and wrinkles in the lap of the skirt to make it feel and look as real as possible.

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- Scantily-clad women dressed in Santa-themed outfits will be going north and south on a pole tomorrow (Dec. 17) and Saturday to advertise for an adult store in Santa Cruz, California. Four instructors from the exotic dance business, Goddess Exotic, will pole dance in the front window of Camouflage, a lingerie and adult products store. According to the "Santa Cruz Sentinel," the event will also feature a "lap-dance lotto" in which customers who spend more than $100 in the store will be entered into a lottery that's drawn every hour to see who gets a free lap dance.

According to a new survey by Sears, 71 percent of men say the success of their favorite football team impacts the amount of time they spend on holiday shopping: the better their team is doing, the more they watch or attend the games and the less time they have to go shopping.
