South Lake Tahoe, NV -- A new hotel in Lake Tahoe that caters to snowboarders specifically is making a lot of waves for snow surfing lovers.

The Block Hotel opened in October and features rooms with everything a boarder would like from snowboarding art to snowboarding-oriented video game consoles and board pegs.

The hotel also allows its customers to rent out a lounge that contains a plasma TV, DVD player and rent porn and snowboarding DVDs.

And although the hotel's claim to fame is being "the world's first snowboarder hotel," they don't mind if their fellow snow lovers and rivals -- skiers -- get a room.

Hotel spokesman Richard Kostas says they have had skiers stay there and adds they "are not disrespected" by the snowboarders or staff.

In his words, "It's not like, 'If you're a skier, then f**k you.' We're not going to punk them just because they're different."

Room rates range from $100 to $320 a night.
