'Flu Tracker' Download Perfect For The Germ-Phobic

Nutley, NJ -- Here's something to appeal to the germ-phobic part of all of us: A software program that lets users track the spread of the flu in their town.

The so-called Flu Tracker was created by a pharmaceutical company and alerts U.S. residents to national and local flu levels with graphs, maps, pop-up alerts and sounds.

For instance, there's a map of the U.S. with color-coded sections to show the areas where flu risk is highest.

In addition, when you open the program, an animated character runs across the bottom of your computer screen being chased by a flu "bug."

There's also data on the current average flu temperature and prevalent flu symptoms -- like coughing and aching.

Folks can download the software for free at tamiflu.com.
