Divine Intervention Inspires Actress To Act With Peter Falk

New York, NY -- Usually, agents convince actors to take on roles -- but, sometimes, divine intervention has a hand.

That's how it worked for actress Tammy Blanchard, who says she decided to sign on to the upcoming TV movie, "When Angels Come To Town," after her dead father appeared to her in a dream.

Blanchard's dad was a big fan of Peter Falk -- who stars in the TV movie -- and the actress says she wasn't considering the role until her dad showed up in her dreams wearing a tuxedo and urging her to take the part.

For Blanchard, that was a sign from heaven, but she became even more convinced that angels were behind her getting the part when she filmed the ending.

That's because Falk's character -- an angel named Max -- ends up wearing the same exact tuxedo that Blanchard's father wore in her dream.

"When Angels Come To Town" premieres Sunday (Nov. 28) on CBS.
