Los Angeles, CA -- Some people are touched by an angel but actor Peter Falk is touched by being an angel.

Falk has played an angel named "Max" in three different TV movies including the upcoming "When Angels Come To Town," and says he enjoys the films because they are usually set at Christmas, a time "when everybody wants to believe."

As he puts it, "It's a nice time of year. Everyone knows for a fact that at Christmas, Santa Claus is going to go down 200 million fricking chimneys."

But while Falk enjoys winging it as an angel, the 81-year-old admits he's not a believer in divine intervention because, in his words, "everytime I start thinking about that, I'm reminded of all the people who could use some divine intervention in their own lives."

"When Angels Come To Town," which also features Katey Sagal, debuts Nov. 28 on CBS.
