The original 1919 contract selling Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees is being auctioned on eBay and the highest bid has topped $1 million. So far, about 212 bids have been placed in the auction, which ends today (Nov. 9).

That's the new motto of the folks on the Mediteranean island of Cyprus, who are considering adding bugs to their diet in the wake of a recent invasion of locusts. Some of the locust recipes suggested by the Food and Agriculture Organization range from grinding the critters into a powder to stuffing the insect with a peanut, then roasting it in a hot frying pan.
