Unicoi, TN -- A new walking tour of Tennessee is scaring up new interest in ghost hunting with a scientific approach.

Stacy Allen McGee, founder of the Alternate Realities Center (ARC), investigates UFOs, alien abductions, Bigfoot and ghosts much like Fox Mulder did on "The X-Files."

McGee says his organization focuses on detecting ghosts using scientific data like electromagnetic field measurements, temperature anomalies and electro-voice phenomena.

Now ARC has started a walking tour of historical sites in East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia which are also hot spots for ghosts.

McGee claims his group has collected enough research to prove there's a possibility of life beyond death.

Interestingly, the "David Duchovny of Dixieland" says before "The X-Files" adopted the motto "The Truth is Out There," he was using it for his Center.
