New Yorkers With Double Names Get Double Pizzas -- Free

New York, NY -- It can't be easy to go through life with a double name like "Scott Scott" or "John Johnson," but it can be an advantage today (Oct. 11) in New York.

For one day only, repetitively-named citizens living in the Big Apple are being offered free pizzas by the Domino's pizza chain.

The wave of generosity is a publicity stunt to promote a new double crust pizza, and each qualified person who shows their ID at a Domino's store will go home with a free one-topping medium size of the so-called Doublemelt pizza.

Domino's researchers turned up at least thirty double-named New Yorkers in an online search -- including three David Davidsons and one Mohammed Mohammed -- but a company spokesperson admits no one knows how many people will respond to the offer.
