Burbank, CA -- R.E.M. isn't sleeping this fall. The band starts its nationwide tour Oct. 13 in Los Angeles to support its newest recording, "Around The Sun," which hits stores Oct. 5.

LONDON -- Matt Damon's next film could be porn, not "Bourne." Damon tells the "London Independent" that he wants to make a character-driven porn movie where the sex "will grow out of the characters and serve as character development."

HOLLYWOOD -- The hands of guitar god Eric Clapton will be forever imbedded in Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood now that he's been inducted into a commemorative sidewalk display known as RockWalk. Slowhand was honored in a private ceremony Monday (Aug. 9) and joins other rock greats such as Elvis Presley and Carlos Santana who have previously made their mark on the RockWalk.
