Run From the Office!

Minneapolis, MN -- If you're bored of watching John Kerry and George W. Bush run for president election, a new board game can let you do it yourself.

The game, "Landslide," is the brainchild of two self-proclaimed "political junkies" in Minneapolis, who got their idea from the Florida election debacle back in 2000.

Each presidential contender chooses a political party, either Democratic, Republican, or Independent and a major issue as their platform and vie for the most electoral votes.

Cocreators Chris Bakeman and Baxter Stephenson call their creation "the "Monopoly" of politics" because you only need "a casual knowledge of political shenanigans."

Still, Stephenson IS worried the game will have a negative effect on society. In his words, "After playing Landslide a few times, you may actually consider running for president."
