Frodo Ditches Middle Earth For Sahara Hotnights

Washington, D.C. -- Frodo the Hobbit has left Middle Earth for some Sahara Hotnights.

Not the desert. Sahara Hotnights is the name of a four-girl punk band from Sweden, who will be opening for The Hives on their upcoming tour.

Hotnights bass guitarist Johanna Asplund recently spotted Lord Of The Rings star Elijah Woods at a recent concert in Los Angeles and says he's just one of many famous folk she's seen at shows.

While Asplund would not say if Frodo was seen with a ring on a chain around his neck, having Woods in the audience did not faze her.

In her words, "I'm not impressed by celebrity."

She also admits she doesn't care about the groupies that follow her band around on tour.

Sahara Hotnights is about to release its second American release, "Kiss & Tell," which hits stores July 27.
