|
St. Louis, MO -- A St. Louis cemetery turned out to be the site of a supernatural family reunion for one aspiring rapper. "Diablo" -- who is one half of the hip-hop duo Dead On Arrival -- recently filmed a video for a song written for his dead brother, Ryan, called "Gangsta's Prayer." The director decided to shoot it at a St. Louis cemetery, not realizing Diablo's brother was buried there. The location freaked out Diablo because it was, in his words, "eight headstones away from my brother -- and I hadn't been near his grave since 1998." Despite the eerie feelings, Diablo is happy with the ghostly family reunion because, "We were turned down by 10 other cemeteries. It was like [the video] was supposed to be there because my brother wanted to see it." He won't have much time for return visits because he's promoting his new CD, "From Out Of Nowhere." It's just as well. According to Diablo, "I don't want to remember him in a cemetery."
