The Real 'School Of Rock'

Philadelphia, PA -- A real-life "School of Rock" is putting its teenaged rockers on the road for a 13-city tour.

The 27 kids -- aged 13 to 18 -- go to the Philadelphia-based Paul Green School of Rock, where they're schooled on classic rock compositions ranging from the work of Led Zeppelin to Frank Zappa's greatest hits.

School founder Paul Green orchestrated the 14-day tour of West Coast cities as a thank-you gift to this year's graduating class, and will take the kids to rock havens like Hollywood and Seattle, ending with a pool-side gig at a Las Vegas casino.

Unlike other rock bands, there are some rules on the road: There's no drinking or showing up late allowed.

But the kids can still have some rock 'n' roll-style fun. In Green's words, "If they want to chase girls after the show, that's fine, they just better be on the bus when it leaves at 2 a.m."

A full schedule of the band's tour can be found at randexpr.com/schoolofrock.
