A Woman In The White House By 2014

Washington -- Voters are rallying around the fairer sex and predicting that a woman will be in the White House within 10 years.

A survey by the American Association of University Women shows that nearly 25 percent of Americans believe there will be a female president within 10 years or less.

Thirty-seven percent of respondents were a little more conservative, and figure a female U.S. president is more likely to take office within 20 years.

That's not all: The survey also says that a man from a minority group will be elected president before a woman is put in the office.

Whoever that first woman president is, she better have community service experience: 45 percent of women emphasize the value of community service as a leadership-building tactic, compared to 33 percent of men.
