Washington -- Mold isn't THAT bad for you after all. According to a new study, exposure to excessively damp indoor spaces can trigger allergies and be associated with asthma. However, there is no evidence linking mold with "...cancer, fatigue, gastrointestinal or neurological problems." TAIPEI, Taiwan -- What's in a name? Plenty for a Taiwanese civil servant named Lan Shang-ta. According to the "Straits Times," that seemingly-innocuous name translates as "penis too big" in the Hokkien tongue, the most widely spoken language in Taiwan. Despite being the butt of many jokes, Lan Shang-ta has managed to marry a woman who doesn't mind the naughty name. But he admits that's probably because she's Vietnamese and doesn't speak Hokkien. GUADELOUPE -- Be careful when you see flying fish, you could go blind. Doctors at the University of Guadeloupe Eye Clinic recently treated a patient who suffered an injury when a flying fish jumped out of the water and impaled itself in his eye socket. The patient eventually lost sight in his eye but doctors believe it's because he waited five days before seeking treatment.
