Man Deserves A Break Today On McDiet

Costa Mesa, CA -- A California man is telling the health industry "eat you're heart out" as he prepares to go on a 30-day McDonald's diet.

Starting tomorrow (Apr. 1) Chazz Weaver, a 48-year-old economist, will eat nothing but McDonald's food for 30 days to prove his point that he won't gain fat.

He won't just eat salads every day either. Instead, Weaver's goal is to eat everything on the menu at least once.

Weaver says he's doing this to combat misinformation surrounding obesity from the health industry and in response to the upcoming documentary "Super Size Me," where filmmaker Morgan Spurlock ate nothing but McDonald's food and packed on the pounds.

Weaver says Spurlock went wrong because he didn't stay in his caloric intake range and didn't exercise.

By comparison, Weaver says he's in excellent health, has six-pack abs and won't exceed his caloric intake or give up exercise.

The only thing he expects to change is, in his words, "my skin might become oily."
