13 A Lucky Number For Country Singer Johnny Lee

Branson, MO -- Thirteen may be unlucky for some people but not for country singer Johnny Lee.

The man who gave the world the 1979 "Urban Cowboy" hit, "Looking For Love," is getting rave reviews for his latest album, "The 13th Of July," and says lucky number 13 had a lot to do with it.

Lee says there were 13 musicians on the recording, 13 investors on the album and "...it was recorded when my kid turned 13."

Also, the title song sat around the Nashville song mill for 13 years before Lee took a chance on it and he made sure to release the album on July 13.

The numbers game seems to have paid off. "The 13th Of July" is Lee's highest-charting CD in years and he's supporting his new wave of success with a nationwide tour this summer.
