Art Unintentionally Imitating Life For Alexandra Paul

Los Angeles, CA -- Art has been imitating life lately for Alexandra Paul -- but not intentionally.

The former "Baywatch" beauty stars in an upcoming drama, "A Woman Hunted," playing a victim of a rape by a famous sports figure.

Despite some similarities to the current Kobe Bryant case, Paul insists her movie was in production long before the Los Angeles Laker had his legal woes and is in no way inspired by his situation.

Paul's career has been affected by the headlines in other ways: Her next movie, "Landslide," was filmed during the recent California wildfires which have left the state's landscape prone to mudslides and a timely topic.

"A Woman Hunted" airs March 18 on Lifetime and "Landslide" will air later this spring on Pax-TV.
